Eyes Tell The Story
Eyes tell the story of a time I wasn't there
of all the hurt she put you through
the relationship I can tell was never fair
she wanted the world, all you wanted was her
soon you find she didn't want you
all she wanted was want you could give her
you don't have to tell me because I know all too well
when you love and lose
well it's really not that hard to tell
you can guard your heart but your eyes tell the story
it's a story almost all of us have
some of us move on, some linger
because true love lost becomes a stain
it never truly ever goes away
it gets better but every once in a while
your mind wonders there again
and when you do well you know the eyes tell the story.
