 Memories

Look back to yesterdays, glorious memories from the past,
of your loving Father, whom God called home at last.

Think back to the little boy, who sat upon his knee,
and clung to his every word, his Hero he did see.

Remember his footsteps, how they echoed Daddies home,
his gentle arms to ensure you, you'd never be alone.

Remember his laughter, it was such a joyous sound,
the pride in your Fathers eyes, none greater could be found.

Now the boy all grown up, with tears in his eyes,
to his beloved Father, must say his last goodbys.

Precious memories of him, are sealed within your heart,
just reach for them often, an you'll never be apart.

His journeys been along one, he sought comfort in the light,
he heard the Angels singing, Heavens such a wonderous sight.

A Fathers love for his son, even death can't take away,
and with your faith in God, you'll be together again one day.
