An Innocent Kiss

Who would have known that these sighs
Would fall so freely from my lips
As a fire starts burning under your touch
All from an innocent kiss

How fast pace and pulse did quicken
Neither of us able to tear away
As if we joined our hearts as well as our lips
And they were determined to stay

Hands once shyly at our sides
Started on a journey of their own
Eyes searching out for a place
For two lovers to be alone

Bodies bending into one another
Longing to deliver each other sweet bliss
Wanting, aching, and filled with need
Fuel for the fire or an innocent kiss?
