D.O.A.  Dead On Arrival..

Riding his Harley hard and fast,
Overtaking vehicles not wanting to be last
Skirting around corners out of control,
Losing his balance upon hitting a hole!
All twisted and tangled on the floor,
The pain too much, can't bear any more.
Writhing in agony, and now it's too late?
Driving like crazy…he met his final date!

Wind in his hair, sun on his face
Cruising for a bruising on this, his last race!

The long lonely road leading him to hellfire…
Is what finished him off, now his life's in the mire.
Tearing up the road thinking he's great,
But all it did for him was to arrange his fate
They brought him in and what a mess!
You couldn't see his face, not at its best
Bloodied and cut, black and blue…
This is what foolhardy will do to you!

Wind in his hair, sun on his face
Cruising for a bruising on this, his last race!

Wind in his hair, sun on his face
Cruising for a bruising on this, his last race!
A lost life and destruction the name of the game,
Dead On Arrival…and a man with no name!
Dead On Arrival in all his glory!
Had he been careful would be a different story

Wind in his hair, sun on his face
Cruising for a bruising on this, his last race!
