He's Off Again! He's off again, oh Adrian dear! Ready with his knife – oh blimey the fear! A wicked glint in his eyes I see! As he lurches ahead, straight at me! I told him, I did – I said; ‘Adrian, lad!' ‘You're a wicked bugger, in fact, you're sad!' The gleam in his eyes, clouded over! He smirked a smirk and threw me over his shoulder! He's going to put the knife – straight into me! As he legs it to theatre, oh glory be! He's on a mission, he's off again! Oh blimey-o-riley – he's flippin' insane! The other day I told him, I said; ‘Adrian dear…' ‘I'm a nervous wreck, I'm riddled in fear!' I told him; ‘I will – I'll wet in fright!' ‘So make sure I'm asleep the whole flippin' night!' ‘I'll get you back!' He said with a grin, But I told him straight! ‘Kid, you won't win!' Oh, cor-blimey, he's off again this lad! I have to admit it, he's pretty sad! Though I have to say, he's a poet so great! And I'm really glad, this fella's my mate! So Adrian! It's time to put me right! And once and for all, end my plight! I know you can do it – yes, you can! Cos like I said; ‘Adrian! You are the man!' So fix me up, once and for all! Or guess what kid? You'll be getting a call! …The Epilogue… What Can I Say? He Did It! Said He Would Didn't I Poetry Ad-Free Upgrades Vote for this poem |
