I Changed!I changed along the way… As I walked the path of life, For now I am finally free… Of hurt and pain and strife! My heart always hurts easy, And though this is not always bad, It is when I allow myself to become hurt, And make me feel down and sad. I changed in the way that I am, For now my heart is protected so well, That I will never walk the walk I walked, That took me straight to hell! The path of life is difficult, And we hurt along the way, But it's up to us to choose… How we live our life that day! But now I have strength inside! Strength I could never see! It was there, hidden away… Until the time came to set it free! No more hurt will climb these walls, For they are as high and mighty as can be, No-one will ever infiltrate them! Not unless I allow you see! For I am the one who makes the choice, Between good, bad, hurt and pain!
