In good days and bad, you brought joy to my life,
I felt just like a King, with you, my Queen, my loving wife.
Through all my illnesses, you kept me strong through it all,
an when Doctors took my limbs away, you kept me ten feet tall.
My body was almost worn out, but my love forever strong,
you always kept me happy, you found courage when things went wrong.
At times I could have given up, but all my strength came from you,
through your smiles and tears, through the love you gave me to.
Hold me in your memories, keep me always in your dreams,
don't give into the nightmares, don't give into the screams.
Know that our lives together, we made so special everyday,
an the magical love we shared, not even death can take away.
Now be happy for me, no wheelchair, no dialysis machine,
my legs are strong and whole, my blood is pure and clean.
Someday you'll get to Heaven, I'll be waiting strong and true,
but untill you're journeys over, always know that I love you.
So please now accept, this was Gods choice to make,
I didn't want to leave, and have your heart to break.
But as I was going, I looked back from the light,
I saw you sleeping there, an God said, "She'll be alright".
