The Hoof to the Rescue
Oh Lori-wan dear,
Yes, it hurts, you feel blue.
So open your ears,
hear what the Hoof has for you :)
The funny thing is you will try and you'll try,
To figure the reasons - the why's and the why's.
A bundle of how comes and a few I don't knows,
All the time while your tears go drip drip on your toes.
The tears are a good thing,
quite cleansing in fact.
So don't try to stop them
Or you just might get fat!
You see if you hide them
the pressure will build,
And eventually you lose it
And off goes your lid.
It's better to feel
though sometimes it's not fun.
For without the bad feelings
The good would be none.
Silly it sounds
for no one likes pain,
but think of the wonders
that come with that rain.
You may feel all soggy,
your feet cold and wet.
But if you open your eyes
You'll see no reason to fret.
The sun will rise
as it does everyday,
The children will smile
and still want to play.
The child in you
is alive and still well.
Just give her some time
and she'll feel just swell.
Have faith in the Hoof
and that trust will go far.
Look in the garage,
you may have a new car!
Well a car maybe not,
But big hugs I can give,
and comfort and snuggles...
all the reasons we live.
So go grab the ladder.
