could he be a king, with a golden crown.
What about the knowledge shared, the hours that hes spent,
could he be a teacher, or our Nations President?
What do you call a man, that wipes away your frown,
could he be a clown, that just rolled into town?
What about the magic, felt through his loving touch,
could he be a magician, that we love so much?
What do you call a man, that keeps you safe and warm,
could he be a superhero, in a different form?
What about the problems solved, hes handled with no fuss,
could he be a Guardian Angel, just watching over us?
What do you call a man, you always look up to,
could he be a giant, with a gentle heart for you?
What about the tenderness, the smiles upon his face,
could he be a priceless heirloom, that nothing could replace?
What do you call a man, that gives his all and more,
could he be an astronaut, with worlds left to explore?
what about the joys and sorrows, an the stories that hes told,
could he be an author, or a knight from days of old?
We call this man Daddy, hes all these things and more,
you'll always be our strength, your the man we all adore.
And we call this man Grandpa, hes our biggest hero to,
big an small, one and all, know that we love you.
