 In My Eyes

~FancyLadyRider Sig's~

He hung the moon, to light my way,
he kissed the sun, to warm my day.
He'd move a mountain, to still my cries,
he held the world, here in my eyes.

He healed my heart, with just a touch,
he smiled that smile, I loved so much.
He'd chase a rainbow, all through the skies,
he colored my world, here in my eyes.

He slew each dragon, my own galant knight,
he kept me safe, sheltered from each fight.
He'd sway the wind, to calm my sighs,
he was the hero, here in my eyes.

He was my husband, and I his wife,
he fathered our children, our joys of life.
He'd give his all, hear our proud replies,
he was an angel, hear in our eyes.

He left me here, God called his name,
he had no choice, the Angels came.
He'll not be forgotten, as my heart cries,
he sees the love, here in my eyes.

This was written for a wonderful friend of mine after the death of her Husband.
