Among The Light
Oh the freshness of a brand new day
as nature awakens to the first glints
of the mornings golden rays-
How delicious the chill of the breeze
gently wafting about, tree to tree,
delicate blooms start opening wide
as the sun begins to peek inside.
Such glorious colors these eyes behold-
darkness replaced by such vivid gold,
little left of the obsidian night
but mere shadows cast among the light.
