Vignette
Horizon promises everything.
Utter a wish to raise a meaning,
for bruised heart often more enduring;
a shrewd virtue of condescending.
Look beyond the face of legacy,
outline the future you want to see
and flaunt the choices you ought to be,
know that smile is worth all modesty.
Rainbow appears suddenly afar,
crowned the mirage with blessed respite.
Sincere prayer begets an award
in varied forms but still a reward.
The silver sky of glowing moonshine,
kissing sweetly the once raging sea,
softly swaying like endless passion
embraced the stillness of emotion.
Swans float beautifully
seagulls diving effortlessly
fowls scratch the earth mercilessly
missing the hiss of snakes dangerously.
The wind whispered a sensuous breeze
the moments of reality squeeze
rain curtains the road to horizon
blurring the sight of looming reason.
