Heart Of The Matter

The Weather

The blue sky is hidden by clouds now,
The rain falls like tears on the pane,
A rainbow has made an appearance,
But I guess I'll get flooded again.

They say there's a hurricane coming,
Severe weather coming my way,
I wonder what happened to summer,
Apart from one glorious day.

They tell me seasons are changing,
The ozone just melting away,
The icecap is slowly approaching,
At least that's what I've heard say.

I guess there's no point in complaining,
For there's not a lot we can do,
We can't put a stop to the weather,
And there's nobody there we can sue.
