Petals Are Falling

I gave her a rose, cause that was her name,

she was tired of my lying, she said loves not a game.

you're drinking and cheating, has drove us apart,

you'll never be faithful, and you've broken my heart.

The petals are falling, shes slipping away,

wilted and wasted, I lost her today.

I'm begging and pleading, she says no not this time,

I saw in her eyes, she was no longer mine.

I picked up the rose, that lay on the floor,

her footsteps now echo, the close of the door.

The petals are falling, what else can I say,

as the door closes, my Rose fades away.
