Like Pools…Stars like diamonds in the sky, Twinkling away all night, And as dawn breaks, a wondrous thing…! We face the sun so bright. Trees all blowing in the breeze, Swaying to and fro… Droplets in the water… Blending with the flow… The sun goes down on the horizon, Shadowed by the sea… The water bobbing all about, This is the life for me! Birds fly high in the sky, Soaring away with the breeze, Swishing and swaying the branches, Of those beautiful old oak trees! Darkness descends gently, Casting shadows all about, The dogs are brought into the house, The cats are all let out. Quietness and stillness settles, Once more on this earth we dwell, Another day over, as blackness covers, Another night's tale to tell! Like pools of water…Peace!
