Reflection
You promised love,
till death do us part.
Trials of any form,
was beyond imagination.
You promised to love me
the way you used to be.
Weakness reckoned by fate,
has thrown our lives to waste.
You promised forever,
assurance made from nowhere.
Barely few months after,
we sought a separate shelter.
Your promised tomorrow
was no better than sorrow.
My bruised heart cried out
nothing was heard but your doubt.
