ONE DAY AT A TIME

If I Had My Life To Live It All Over Again
I would practice to relax and laugh more,
not allowing cancer cells to form throughout.
I would burn my scented candles,
and not allow to melt them away in storage.
I would speak less in circles of unknown,
and improve my listening skills.
I would invite friends over more often,
even if my carpet has stains or the sofa is faded.
I would cry and laugh less during a movie,
and more while watching life.
I would learn to buy less material things,
and embrace matters that money can't buy.
I would have less "I'm sorry's" and "I love you's,
And gear on expressions of gratitude.
Most of all, given another chance at life,
I would seize every moment with dignity,
visualize it with clear, wide-opened eyes,
live it to its fullest pathways God created,
allow the past to stay in the past, as meant to be,
and savor each day with love, one day at a time!
Mother Nature changes time with its seasons,
They wither away and cycle each calendar year,
Life is like a circle with all of God's creations,
it is immeasurable until it, too, ceases to bloom.
