Being as One in Christ

Galatians 3:26-29

We are children of God by faith in Christ,
As baptized in the blood of the sacrificed;
For there is neither as a Jew or a Greek
Neither male nor female to pleasure seek;
Neither have we set free or been a slave,
We are one who was raised from the grave;
Being in Christ you are of Abraham's seed,
Not to be filled with the lust or the greed;
Heirs to the promise according to the Word,
To the non-believer it'll all seem blurred.
Being children of God we are truly as one,
As to be equal everybody second to none;
In the body of Christ we all have our task,
Requiring your devotion when He will ask;
While the forces of temptation and pride,
Will be causing you friction on the inside;
Be tormenting and trying to tear you apart,
As to play a tug of war within your heart;
Be as one in Christ for the sake of God,
Praising His name with honor and laud.
