Witnessing as an Apostle

II Timothy 1:11-14

We are apostles as well as being preachers,
For all the Gentiles we are also teachers;
For which I do suffer but am not ashamed,
Since I believe in all that I've proclaimed;
I know that he is able to keep that's which,
I have committed unto Him to when I enrich;
To hold fast in Scripture that I have heard,
In both faith and in love of Christ's Word;
That all good things are not empty shells,
As guarded by the Holy Spirit in us dwells.
We are not dealing with politicians here,
With empty promises and nothing to fear;
This is the truth and the light that's read,
And Christ as the bread of life we are fed;
As believers in Christ we must go testify,
Preaching of His Gospel and for to glorify;
We need to uphold the Word of the Lord,
Never hiding or allowing it to be ignored;
As an apostle we witness of God has done,
With victory over death that we have won.
