Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god

ABEYANCE

Before the secret (or lie, depending on where you stand),
All I can remember is
Us going to the Imax theater,
You, your husband and kids.
I'd never felt more like a third wheel.
The sequestered aunt.
You all seemed happy,
From what I saw.
It was like
I was in heaven,
Watching all the people,
Attention focused on the Cortez's.
