 Our Beloved Cheif
effect="relief">~sss~

God made an unexspected call, left our city filled with grief,
in the early morning hours, we lost our Beloved Cheif.
Now his last call to duty, fellow Officers by His side,
black arm bands in mourning, we'll salute his final ride.

His voice now is silent, from our radio day and night,
for He took the hand of God, an walked toward the light.
His office chair is empty, His patrol car sitting cold,
for God called Him Home, to walk His streets of gold.

Beyond the call of duty, he lived by everyday,
with a helping hand, the kindness, He shared along the way.
His uniform worn proudly, a job always done with pride,
with the last beat of his heart, we know the Angels cried.

We'll try to follow in his footsteps, be the best that we can be,
Our Comrade, Our Friend, gave His all for you and me.
Let his teachings guide us, on each call we make,
A Guardian Angel on our shoulder, just for old time sake.

He has carried many titles, throughout his long career,
but Husband and Father, were two he held so dear.
A family man an Officer, God chose to call away,
His Family we'll watch over, till their together again one day.

He wore a badge with courage, no job did he neglect,
with honor and dignity, he enforced the law with deep respect.
An know with this last salute, as we struggle with our grief,
In memory You'll always be, Our Beloved Cheif.
