A Dream Of Love That I Have Seen

A dream within a dream
That's what I know you are,
That's what I have seen.

This is where I want to fly
To seek one moment in time,
To soar on a fluttered sigh.
How deep is the longing that brings
Such echo of loneliness
That reverberates; then sings.

How long? My lonely heart cries.
When will infinity fall into
The heart of my being? Where and why?
I have no reason that this should be;
And yet angels of love and light
Shine down their hope upon you and me.

A dream within a dream
That's where I know you are,
That's where my dreams are seen.
