Copse

They grow in patches all over the land
So green, lush and full of life
They wait for the children to come and play

A stand here a stand there everywhere a stand
The more the children come the more they grow
Happiness in the bright green leafs

The children love this time of year when all is green
They play in and out and around the clumps of green
The softness of the fallen leafs protect them when they fall

I still go there to watch
I still love the green leafs
I still love the copse...
