An Abandoned GodHosea 11:1-6 God loved him as a son when being a child, But He worshipped idols becoming defiled; God taught him, taking by the arm to guide, But knew not of being healed deep inside; God drew him in bonding in bands of love, That was showered upon from up above; As he open up his mouth God left meat, In leaving not to return to the same seat; For he has taken up the sword to conquer, The cities using his own counsel to concur. God loves all of his children everywhere, Unfortunately for many they never share; No longer relying on the Heavenly Father, A loss of faith for not needed any further; God is eager to take us in the direction, While his children tend to be dereliction; When everything is so sunny and bright, We forget who pays the bill for the light; Time to look to repair your relationship, Before God tells you to abandon ship.
