Dear God please give a message, to an Angel up above,
and send it with all urgency, be sure its filled with love.
Tell Her that we love her, and miss her here on earth,
and thank her for the memories, and all that they are worth.
Dear God please also tell Her, that we miss her smiling face,
and in Our hearts, no one, will ever take Her place.
Tell Her that this message, is from Family and Friends,
and then please exspress, all the love this message sends.
Dear God be sure this message, goes to Miss Lindsey Burk's
and let Her know in Our hearts, Her memory forever lurks.
Tell Her that a year ago, Our hearts cried with no end,
for in Our grief, we couldn't see, we'd one day meet again.

In Memory on the years Anniversary, of Lindsey Margaret Burks
I sent them the poem in either late Nov.or early Dec. of 1991, and they (the Parents) had it made into their Christmas cards. They sent me one along with a blank journal telling me to keep writing. Mrs.Burks was the english teacher at the school both our daughters attened.
