Rhymes of the Heart
Seleta's Smiles (poets please read prayers needed)
Flipping through the pages, I found SELETA'S SMILES,
they took me on a journey, that covered many miles.
You'll find tears and laughter, anywhere you go,
from "THE ICECREAM MAN" , down through "WINTER SNOW".
These pages bare the prints, of the Poets gentle hands,
like a masterpiece thats woven, with elegant silken strands.
Every page paints a picture, where lovely colors swirl,
see the smiles on each face, for the "LITTLE DRUMMER GIRL".
A heart amongest these pages, giving life to them,
they'll shine forever brightly, even when the light goes dim.
The "FADED PAPER DOLLS", now dusted off at last,
lost memories of a little girl, recaptured from the past.
These pages hold a Poet, a very lovely Friend,
that we all want to see, back with Us again.
may God please bless her, through these earthly trials,
thank you Our Friend, for sharing SELETA'S SMILES.

this is written for Seleta Johnson, right here on poetry poem, she is a beautiful Lady undergoing chemo for Leukhemia, and is in critical condition.Seleta's Poetic Smiles is a treasure to read stop by and while your there have a laugh, shed a tear, and say a prayer for Our Friend. The words in capital letters in this poem are just afew of her own poem titles,i haved placed the quotation marks around the titles of her poems,to symbolize I have no claim to them. Thanks and God Bless
