Thank You Everybody
Thank you everybody,
For reading my terse verse,
Some of it not too bad,
And some of it quite worse.
But I am not a poet,
I simply like to write,
And play around with words,
To help make each day bright.
You gave me inspiration,
And I sent some in return,
But I am such a novice,
I have so much to learn.
Yes, thank you everybody,
For sharing thought and soul.
Without all your welcome words,
Mine would not have been, so bold!
