The Pathway to Heaven

1 Peter 2:7-9

Unto those that have been so disobedient,
A stone disallowed by builders as incipient;
A stone of stumbling and rock of offence,
To stumble in the Word is of disobedience;
But to those who believe He is precious,
Declare to all the world just how glorious;
Chosen in the royal priesthood as children,
Of the Holy Nation not considered foreign;
Continue to praise the One with the might,
Who took us from darkness into the light.
We are Spiritual Children to all the chosen,
As truth and light for you shall gladden;
For the Lord has shown you the way to go,
In traveling the path with the radiant glow;
A straight and narrow pathway to Heaven,
Directions in the Bible have been given;
When becoming disobedient you will stray,
Then you will need to confess as you pray;
He will quickly guide you back on the path,
Before you begin to suffer from His wrath.
