One Surreal Night

Blue heron
Stretch your legs
as I stretch mine
and widen my eyes to see you.

Gray not terribly blue.

Blended within
the rocks and cliffs
water rushing through.

Mist-like spray
but nothing really hiding
the two lovers that kissed.

Captured attentively
Orange
the flowers
a few leaves
the sunset.

Yet
brown
his eyes
pulled a look
more deeply
since the day our energies
first met.

A wish floats
`round my mind
that the uncomfortable words
would quit rolling off my tongue
and just be passed from palm to palm
when this dreamy day is done.

To inhale the color green
I did
before it reached my eyes.

We then walked the bridge
that led to the power
of the gathering..
Leaving many with more
fufilled lives.

Our palms did meet..

A wish granted
as a small squeeze passed
words silenced
tongue quenched
left with a taste so sweet.

and so it would seem
on one night I am left
with thoughts of you
and this colorful dream...
