~Alleghny Moon Romance~
(Free Verse)

The day at last have returned...
Somberly carrying  the night, upon his back,
Holding 'till fast, all the stars of night
As she made him a pledge of love...

To be forever part of the sun,
As the light despatches fast,
All the day moribund,
With rays to keep her alive all night...

As he released them with little kisses
Playfully,  all the way to the stars at last,
While the moon happy, waxes her glowing face,
Lovingly, and send it back to the Sun again.
