Marooned

(Just one for a few giggles)

I am marooned now beyond my will
Trapped up here on redneck hill
Mother nature let it come on down
Can I leave, nope I'd drown

The water is coming up over the ridge
Never let the village idiot build a bridge
Because there it goes with the stream
Oh today has been such a dream

But even dark days have a perk
I got to call the boss and stay off work
Yes everyone was there, yeah even him
Can I make it? Sure, I can swim...

So much for the benefits of ole redneck hill
And being stranded against my will
The water might go down in a few days
But I dont think I'll be seeing that raise
