Heavenly Burdened

Heavenly burden about what I seen,
How can they do this, how can this be?
Taking from the homeless and poor,
Only to gain more and more.

Heavenly burden by their robbing to gain,
Not even caring of others needs and pain.
O 'Lord why don't they see,
What you offered is for free?

Heavenly burden about their greed,
You came so all could be freed.
How can the poor ever get ahead,
When they don't even have a bed?

Heavenly burden by what we saw,
Asking for money for the pastor
who did the altar call,
Sadden in my very soul,
To see them asked to empty their
pockets into the collection bowl.
