To Mother:
Mother Mother oh so rare,
tell me what it's like up there.
Is heaven perfect like they say,
is all your pain taken away?
Are the angels all dressed in white,
do we on earth vision them right?
Did you tell God i said to keep you near,
does he know you are so dear?
Mother Mother please take care,
keep heaven safe for when i get there.
I'm still here and doing fine,
Mother Mother so proud you were mine!
From Mother:
Daughter Daughter everything you said is true,
and i'm up here watching over you.
I told God what you told me to,
he sends back his love to you.
Don't worry a bit about me,
just be your sweet self-would you do that for me?
I have no more pain so rest easy,
God has taken that all from me.
Daughter Daughter oh so rare,
you're always in our care.
I'm also doing just fine,
Daughter Daughter so proud you were mine!
