Dreams

As the orchestra plays a gentle tune
The sound of music fills the room
My body has begun to sway
As my thoughts drift away,
When I was just a young girl
I kept all my dreams inside
But as the years have quickly passed
They are now much harder to hide,
I have often wondered does anybody know
What happens to our dreams?
When we let them go,
Do they stay with us all through the years
Are they hiding somewhere behind our fears,
Are they waiting quietly longing to dance?
Until we open our hearts and take the chance
