Time To Let You Go
So now it's time to let you go,
To live the life you choose,
We know the love we showered on you,
Is the one thing you won't lose.
We hope that you'll be happy,
As you set to spread your wings,
We pray that you will find success,
And the contentment that it brings.
We hope the things we taught you,
Will stand you in good stead,
And may you know just when to let,
Your heart, control your head.
We want to say we're proud of you,
So proud, we want to cry,
But what's the point of having wings,
If you never learn to fly.
Remember that we care for you,
You'll never be alone,
And when life brings you cloudy days,
We'll be here, just lift the phone.
