Sunset Sail
We sail into this beauty,
Soft reflective, streams of pink.
Ripple patterns, ever changing,
Every time we blink.
Sunset on the water,
This floating out, of light.
Colours merge together,
Soft subtle, then quite bright.
Try to capture moments,
But you must be quick.
Each turn, the picture changes,
Our cameras constant click.
Pink changes into orange,
And blues, now dull and soft,
As we sail into this sunset,
With hearts on high, aloft!
Joy Weare.
16th September, 2004.
