I See
Couples walking,
Arm in arm,
Babes in strollers,
Safe from harm.
Cameras clicking,
Children smile,
Old man fishing,
For a while.
Picnic tables,
Cake and tea,
Dancing shadows,
By the sea.
Cruising sail boats,
Filled with joy,
Old and young,
Girls and boys.
Dogs with owners,
Trail behind,
Man in wheel chair,
Looks just fine.
Frail hold firm,
To walking frames,
Won't give in
To age and pain.
People view
Tall sail ship,
As dolphins dance,
Turn and flip.
Yellow sea plane,
Gently lands,
Adding colour,
Movement grand.
Backdrop constant,
Sweet wave song,
Sea breeze gentle,
Freshness strong.
Sunshine sparkles,
On the sea,
This is just
The place to be!
Joy Weare.
17th September, 2004.
