Charley, Frances, Ivan And Jeanne

The wind is blowing
The rains are gushing
The earth is softening
The trees are falling
The animals are hiding
The streets are flooding
The cars in the road, floating.

One right after another
The hurricanes are coming

The people to their houses
Are waving goodbye
To their earthly possessions
As away, they are washing.

We now cling to our neighbors, crying
Cleansed of our pride.

We are left to rely on eachother..

God, you are reminding us
As you bring us together
This your earth, us your children..

We pray, thy will be done
As one right after another
The hurricanes have come.
