Sent Tears In The Stream

In her longing she does stand
Sending her tears into the stream
Casting her wishes now as well
For fate to let her true love be

So roll along, her soft sent tears
May Godspeed you to the sea
Take with you her every prayer
Place them like sands then at his feet

She knows this stream needs an outlet
And perhaps a river soon will hear
All the whispers of his name
And how she needs to hold him near

So roll along, her soft sent tears
May Godspeed you to the sea
Take with you her every prayer
Place them like sands then at his feet

Every river needs to open wide
Stretch out its' arms for a while
She'll sit and pray her tears are noticed
For they have traveled on now for miles

So roll along, her soft sent tears
May Godspeed you to the sea
Take with you her every prayer
Place them like sands then at his feet

Perhaps the sun will beat down from high
And her tears will be dried away
But try again this poor girl would
For her heart has something to say

So roll along, her soft sent tears
May Godspeed you to the sea
Take with you her every prayer
Place them like sands then at his feet
