Tonight I'll pray for the Lord
My soft soul to keep
Rest my head upon my pillow
And plead just to sleep
I would beg the clouds
To take the moon from the sky
Close my eyes to the stars
Just let me dream tonight
I'd ask the angels in heaven
To sing me their lullaby
Not another night alone
With my head in hands to cry
Just one look at his face
His sweet smile is what I need
Let me get lost in his eyes
Please let me dream
