Shine me _

Bring some hate to show me
what you feel deep inside.
With your own pitiless
judgmental, fear you hide.

Tie it up in dogma
and shuttered views of life.
Try to find another
paradyme, to tune in
with your mind.

Cough it up, spit it out
dig it up to be seen.
Live the lie, terrorise
to relive your shattered
lonely dreams.

Shout it out, draw them in
other folk of like mind.
Mental bits of darkness
for light to shine upon.

Only if you're wilful, will
this hatred disappear.
But first you have to cut
barbed wire, your fence that
twists your fear.

Barbs of wire, bars of iron
they're really all the same.
Those beliefs with righteous
views of life, those prisons
of your mind.

Twist away unravel them
analyse every turn.
Then stand back to get a
better look, of where you
think you've been.

Flick the switch, simpleton
to see what you have done.
You've spun round in circles
and paralysed your brain.

Go slower, now deeper
to let the light inside.
By Will you bring crap up
by Will you let it slide.

Only when love's light floods in
and darkness dissolves away
to melt those barbed prison walls
beliefs dogged mental thoughts
will the heart then have its' say.
