My Earthen Vessel
Jesus loved this earthen vessel
with all it's ugly cracks of sin
He took each broken piece to
put them back togather again.
Taking ahold of His carpentry tool
with craftmenship so defined
His grace chipped away
every sin battered line.
He smoothed the rugged pieces
that had filled me with grief
and the comfort of His hands
gave me such sweet relief.
Now an eternal vessel
His love has surely gave
replacing and giving victory
over death and the grave.
