While strolling through the park one day
Such beauty I could see
Little birds were happily
Singing in the trees
And smiling down on me
Two lovers walked hand in hand
And shared a passionate kiss
I can remember thinking
There is nothing more romantic than this
Colored flowers danced
Freely with the breeze
As I found a shelter
Under a large oak tree
The sky above was clear and blue
While the fresh mowed lawn
smelled sweet and new
This was indeed a beautiful day
Full of beauty and wonder along the way
And tomorrow when a new day rises
I am sure I will be greeted
With many more surprises
