Listening for the Lord

Deuteronomy 13:1-4

Being as a prophet or dreamer of dreams,
God gives signs or a wonder as it seems;
For the sign or the wonder come to pass,
He speaks unto you so advise the mass;
For the Lord our God has proven to you,
And you should love the Lord in all you do;
Love Him with all of your heart and soul,
Letting Him to take over being in control;
Walking in His footsteps showing respect,
Obeying His law and voice for to interject;
As well as to serve Him for you to cleave,
In the blessing of eternal life you receive.
God is talking to us everyday of the week,
Alas for not always His voice do we seek;
Even though time spent reading His Word,
When He is talking to us He is not heard;
God tells us of the future things to come,
But we act as if we are just deaf and dumb;
So just take the time each and every day,
And listen up for the Lord when you pray.
