Darkness or Light

I John 1:5-10

God is light with no darkness in Him at all,
If you walk in the dark you'll surely fall;
Walking in the dark and you will also lie,
Talking the truth and light is your ally;
We have fellowship to cleanse of another,
In the blood of Jesus Christ your Brother;
To say of no sin so ourselves we deceive,
But in confessing our sins and do believe;
God who is faithful and just shall forgive,
Cleansing us from sin that kept us captive;
To say we not sin then making Him a liar,
His word not in us is concealing our desire.
It's very true of God being just and fair,
As you confess your sins while in prayer;
He will cleanse you from unrighteousness,
As He is filling you with His blessedness;
But saying you never sin a fictional story,
And be falling short of His power and glory.
You've a choice of the truth and the light,
Or stay in darkness to suffer your plight.
