Memories Of You (Lament)
I got the news last night
that you had passed away,
I've had memories of you
to this very day.
I've missed you
through the years,
my soul fills
with silent tears.
You don't have to suffer
with any more pain,
I'll forever keep you in my heart
until we meet again.
May God love you
and keep your soul safe,
we'll be together again,
but sadly not today.

My great aunt passed away on Sept.10/2004. Her funeral was yesterday. She had pneumonia.
