A Sheep Amongst the BeastMatthew 10:16-20 You go forth as sheep in amongst the beast, Be wise as snakes or on you they will feast; But also go and be as harmless as a dove, In spreading the Word of God and His love; But beware of men that are full of deceit, They bend the laws to trip you at your feet; You have truth that they like to criticize, As they give testimony to a bunch of lies; Pay no attention of what you shall speak, God shall give to you the words you seek; It shall be the Holy Spirit saying for you, Words from the Father in your lips through. We are sheep amongst the wolves here, Deceitful people trying to make you fear; In preaching the Gospel others will resist, Everything you say they will try to twist; But you know that the truth makes you free, God shall help you as you make your plea; You are never alone in spreading the Word, God will ensure you that you shall be heard.
