Rain Song
It sings in soft sprinkles
A sweet lullaby.
It twists and it tinkles,
And turns with a sigh.
It sways in small circles,
Then steps left and right.
It echos on rooftops,
And cries in the night.
It dances and prances,
And sparkles the flowers.
It splashes and lashes
And shimmers soft showers.
It booms and it crashes,
And falls hard and loud.
It joins with light flashes,
And dances with clouds.
It soothes all the sadness,
And eases the pain.
It's magical music,
This thing we call rain!
Joy Weare.
