Is This It?
Have I arrived? No time better than now...
everyone is watching me to see how I cope
everyone waits now to see if I will choke
butterflies keep my stomach full
I think it's the best feeling I have had yet
they stand and clap, the most wonderful sound
greatest feeling to be accepted and appreciated
tears of happiness descend and out of the crowd
I lock eyes with you my dear friend
and all the noise just left me
because I am captured in a moment with you
the release of all the weight I put high upon a shelf
and I am free....I am in awe
because for the first time in a long time
I am at peace and my dreams I am living....
