A Synthetic Soul

No Longer Alone

Sitting here all glum and sad,
Just thinking about all the good times we had.

All the smiles and tears of joy we shed.
Thought we'd be together just like you always said.

Now that you are gone,
I dread to see another mournings dawn.

I dare not breathe another breath.
Or live this life of living death.

Without you, my heart is but an empty void.
We were but a perfect couple who's lives were destroyed.

And as I stand here upon this cliff.
I think what a shame if I were to slip.

I hold out my arms as to take flight.
I jump freely into the night.

I am at home.
I am no longer alone.
